Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

Integer = 0

Use the same serialization as integers, after coercing the bits of a float into an unsigned integer.

Variable = 1

Use variable float encoding.

Fixed = 2

Use fixed float encoding.
